Nails could not be an
unfamiliar storyline as it follows the typical
down to earth story of five outstanding stars - in all sense of the term.
Generation Z is caught in the illusionary world of a smart phone
, a motorbike and a host of activities of taboo. The beginning of the story has thus become the template of the generation Z.
The convincing part of it is the
way the innocent
school child is infatuated by the
heroic teens .
One wonders why the teacher had to shout to get out to
too many in a class.
But it is that gang that hangs out . Just one trial was an initiation to the world of the diseased . Everyone had a
taste , even the reluctant one.
The sheer openness alarms the aged.
But it has inadvertently crept into the
modern psyche. At home service ,
right in the path, graffiti .. all stun
the People Of The Age of the Wheels.
The deadly signs were visible after a month or so . But who cares ??? The
bros shook to reality only after the saddened
sudden demise of their sweet friend.

Each one associated with the film has successfully
conveyed what they mean to do even without much dialogue . YES Actions
speak louder than words in COFFIN
NAILS.
THE BEST PART:
Gokul , when caught
playing prank in class . The
class scene in general.
THE TOUCHING ONE:
The genuine grievance of friends
.
THE AVOIDABLE
ONE : Death
- frowned us from the
Vidyalaya premises .
COULD HAVE ADDED
ONE : Any attempt to stop
smoking by any person along with
creating awareness.
TECHNICAL PART :
Mostly it runs in close shots and
mid shots , dearth of sound is felt in some places .
Coffin nails -
The Title : Its amply clear as
what are those nails and who nailed them down .
The Short Film is
directed by Shyam A.
M and has
in its cast Abhishek , Ashik , Gokul , Suraj
and Abhjith all senior secondary students serious
about a cause .
